Returns - Exchanges - Delivery Policy

OUR RETURNS POLICY!
The Skate Store
offer a 14 day returns notification policy that commences upon the day you receive your goods. Within this time (the initial 14 days from receiving your purchase) you MUST notify us that you wish to return your purchase. Only then can you arrange to return your unused/unworn items for refund, credit or exchange. Please note that you then (after notifying us) have an extra 14 days to return goods to us but after this period (28 days total) no goods will be accepted!

 

How to return?
Returned items must be unused/as new in their original condition! We will not accept any goods that have been visibly used or marked/damaged in any way!

Please also retain all original packaging and receipts!

Any items without the original packaging and/or receipt may not be returned under any circumstance!

If you receive an item you believe to be faulty please contact us immediately before returning your goods! We would like to be notified of any fault or issue you have within 48 hours of receiving the item(s) so please inspect your purchase as soon as you receive it. You do however have up to a maximum of 30 days from the receipt of your item to inform us that your item is faulty or not fit for purpose.

If you need to contact us in regards to an exchange, refund or other issue please email theskatestore@outlook.com and we will respond as soon as possible.

Returns MUST to be arranged with The SKATE Store before you send anything back and the parcel must include the senders name and address.

Please note customers are responsible for exchange/returns postage both ways.
We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage as you may need it in the event of a claim with your carrier.

DELIVERY

Delivery - We offer economy delivery (2 - 5 working days) on all our products. Please note all deliveries are stock dependant.

  • Upto £19.99 - £1.99 delivery charge
  • £20 upto £49.99 - £3.99 delivery charge
  • £50 or more - Free delivery
We also offer a FREE collect in store option (at the checkout page). 

    Fast Delivery - If you require a faster delivery than the standard 2 - 5 working days, you can contact us (either phone or Facebook message) before paying for your order. We will then try our best to get the product to you as fast as possible. 

    Direct Dispatch Item – This is an item that we do not always keep in stock. In this case the item will be sent directly to you from our distributor shipped with a 24 to 48-hour delivery time. 

    On the rare occasion that your selected item is out of stock with our distributor we will then contact you immediately to make you aware of this and offer you an exchange or refund.

    We will try to give you the best response and service possible at all times.

    Special Order Item – This is an item that we don’t always keep in stock, in this situation your selected item is sent from our distributor to us first, generally by next day delivery. We will then immediately send the item on to you.
    On the rare occasion that your selected item is out of stock with our distributor we will then contact you immediately to make you aware of this and offer you an exchange or refund.

    We will try our best to give you the best response and service possible.

     

    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
    If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at theskatestore@outlook.com.

    Sale items (if applicable)
    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items will not be refunded.

    Exchanges (if applicable)
    If you would like to exchange a product for another product or for a different size/variant then please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help you as best as we can.

    Faulty Items (if applicable)
    In the rare event that your delivered item is unfortunately faulty or not fit for it's intended purpose then we will do our best to sort this problem out for you. In such a case please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery! If you could send us some images of the fault or defect that will speed up the process.
    The item must not be worn, used or tested out in any way!


    Shipping
    To return your product, you should mail your product (only after getting in touch with us informing us of your intention of returning the product) to:
    Unit 8 Piccadilly Arcade, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, GB, ST1 1DL.


    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are unfortunately non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    If you do decide to ship an item please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we personally cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Having it tracked removes this risk and gives yourself as the customer piece of mind that we will definitely get your returned good(s) in a safe and secure way.
